Ok call it a coincidence, but it just so happens that many of the cities we’ve chosen for our luxury apartment rentals happen to be really pet friendly as well. And not just the streets, parks, and beaches, but our properties too. So next time you’re faced with a vacation, business trip, or relocation and can’t find a pet sitter, just bring your furry buddy along – we’ll be happy to find an apartment you’ll both love! We accept lots of different kinds of pets, but here we concentrate on our canine friends, as these are the ones who need to get out and about (then again, who are we to say you can’t bring your lizard/guinea pig/parakeet to the beach…!)
In and around South Beach, Miami
We presume you’re in Miami for the beautiful beaches, and there’s no need to miss out just because you’ve got a dog in tow. In Miami, there are two sandy dog parks for letting your pet off leash for some beach fun. At Haulover Beach there’s a dog park and a schedule of on-beach dog friendly times. Hobie Beach, also known as Windsurfer Beach, is a dog friendly park but your pup has to be on leash. The North Shore Open Space Park also has beachfront dog parks for a breezy way to let your dog run around. Miami, as you know, can get hot hot hot, so don’t forget to share your water with Fido!
Stanley Park, Vancouver With plenty of wide-open parks, miles of winding trails and a population full of active people, it’s no surprise that Vancouver is known for being a dog-lover’s city. Check out this guide to leash-free areas in Vancouver, or just head down to beautiful Stanley Park – the two of you can take a jog through the rose gardens and by the waterside, then you can let your pooch run free in the fenced area just off Lagoon Drive (7am-9pm)
Mont Tremblant, Quebec If you really want to take yourself, and your four-legged friend, into the wild, there’s no better spot than Mont Tremblant. 90 minutes from Montreal, the wooden cabins, hiking trails, lakes and forests of this stunning mountainous region is the perfect antidote to city life. And this time of year, with the leaves changing from green to golden, yellow and ruby red, makes for an unforgettable adventure. What could be better than a day exploring the hillsides, and an evening curled up in front of the fire? Nope, not a thing.
