Some previous reviews mentioned that the area was noisy, but I didn't find that to be the case. Then again, I was coming from Colombia, so perhaps my perspective is a little different!

The restaurants in La Cuadrita are conveniently located just around the corner, with plenty of options nearby. Uber works well in Asunción—you can meet your driver in the airport car park, although they only get eight minutes of free parking.

I was travelling light and paid around PYG 25,000 for a small car. Comfort cars were around PYG 41,000. The official(?) taxis, on the other hand, seemed quite overpriced.

Unfortunately, our experience with this property was very disappointing and we ultimately terminated our stay early with the assistance of Vrbo Support.The property itself was in poor condition and did not accurately reflect the listing. The carpets in the bedrooms had a strong urine smell, and the listing photos are of a different suite. The unit we received did not have the island shown in photos and had very limited storage. Check-in was also extremely frustrating. Check-in was scheduled for 4pm but the host was unavailable and unresponsive, and we did not receive the keys until approx 9pm. There were several other significant issues during our stay:* The air conditioning was not as advertised. It consisted of a single window-style unit installed through the wall, which was sealed off with a plate when we arrived. Although this was eventually corrected, the property owner entered the unit while we were away without our knowledge or permission to remove the plate.* We paid for a reserved parking spot, but no parking spot was made available to us.* The laundry tower was dated and did not function properly.* The refrigerator and freezer stopped working, resulting in all of our frozen food spoiling over the weekend.* Communication with the host throughout the stay was poor.After dealing with these issues, we contacted Vrbo Support and ultimately ended our stay early.The only positive is the location.

Excellent location: nice building: 24 hrs security guard: great restaurants at La Cuadrita: would advise to Corporate Stays to provide more clean towels: trash bags: & toilet papers: we had to go & buy supplies! Other than that it was a nice place to stay!
