It’s no secret that Bogotá loves to party. With a dizzying array of bars and clubs, partygoers have no shortage of options. Whether you choose to imbibe at a hip bar or dance into the wee hours, you are in for a memorable night.

A Seis Manos

Nestled in an unsuspecting street in Bogotá’s city centre, A Seis Manos is one of the city’s most vibrant venues. Hosting film showings, live indie music, and salsa shows in the large, open space that makes up the bar, A Seis Manos is as much cultural centre as watering hole.

La Villa

In the heart of Bogotá’s Zona T district is La Villa, a club where trendy locals and expats alike gather to dance the night away. La Villa is home to two weekly staples: Gringo Tuesdays and Exchange Salsa. Both foreigners and locals are invited to Gringo Tuesdays for a language exchange (which quickly turns into a party), while Exchange Salsa offers a free bilingual salsa lesson (a must for newcomers to Colombia). The DJs will keep you dancing with a unique mix of electro, rock, and pop, all infused with bumping Latin grooves.

El Sitio

Head to Parque 93 to boogie at El Sitio. With sophisticated all-white décor and a great selection of drinks, this spot is packed on weekends with guests looking to dance the night away. Live bands keep the crowd moving with a mix of salsa, vallenato, and European music. Book a table upstairs behind the glass to catch the bands up close.

Galería Café Libro

With three locations in Bogotá, Galería Café Libro is the go-to club for salsa. We recommend the main location in Parque 93, where live bands keep the party going all night. A massive space with a terrace surrounding the stage and an infamous dancefloor, Galería Café Libro is the perfect place to practice your salsa moves.

Andres Carne De Res

Just outside the city is Andres Carne De Res in Chia, a must-see for any visitor. Part bar, steakhouse, and club, this sprawling site is a truly traditional Colombian experience. Dance your way through the interlinked rooms and dance floors bedecked with magical-realist knick-knacks and thumping with Latin beats.

Armando Records

Armando Records is a Bogotá hotspot in the heart of Zona Rosa known for its great mix of western and Colombian music. The second floor includes a back garden, but the real party is on the fourth floor rooftop, where guests can drink and dance under the stars.
