Although our luxury apartments are surprisingly affordable, we can’t deny that Miami Beach is expensive enough already, so why wouldn’t you want to enjoy some free things to do during your vacation there? These are some completely free attractions that we think you’ll love during your stay in Miami Beach.

South Beach Art Deco Tour: Even though some people see Miami Beach as a paradise for 24-hour partiers and “attractive people,” the truth is that it has a number of different things to offer. For example, there are a number of beautiful Art Deco hotels to explore and other architectural marvels to gaze it. Think of Gianni Versace’s former home for example, the Casa Casuarina. If you don’t want to spend anything on a tour but still want to explore these wonderfully preserved buildings, you can print out this Art Deco District Walking Tour.

The Holocaust Memorial: You can find the Holocaust Memorial in Miami Beach, located right on the corner of Meridian Avenue and Dade Boulevard. A small group of Holocaust survivors came up with the idea in 1984, and the memorial was officially opened in 1990. The site offers a memorial wall, garden of meditation, architectural pieces, and a series of statues. You can find more information about the memorial here.

Gardens, Parks, and Beaches: If you enjoy people watching, you couldn’t pick a better spot than Miami. Go to Lummus Park Beach to absorb the flurry of activity there, and if you want to toss the ball around, have a picnic, or just go the beach, South Pointe Park is highly recommended. For a more peaceful experience, don’t miss the tranquil Miami Beach Botanical Garden, especially because it has free admission. You’ll find a huge collection of subtropical palms, bromeliads, and orchids.

Art Galleries and Museums: There are a few South Beach selections in the list of participating institutions for ‘Free Museum Days’. One day a week you can get free admission to the Jewish Museum of Florida and Wolfsonian-FIU Art Museum. Also, many of the Art Galleries in Miami Beach will offer free admission, including Britto Central and ArtCenter South Florida.
