Pozos is a vibrant district in the canton of Santa Ana, San José province, Costa Rica. It also hosts the Costa Rican Stock Exchange. The district’s name, originally “Los Pozos,” comes from the area’s flat, clay-rich terrain that once formed numerous puddles and marshes. Pozos has been officially recognized as a district since the establishment of the canton in 1907.
