Miami Beach Golf Club is open year-round and although it was originally opened in 1923, Steve Forrest and Arthur Hills recently updated the entire course, sculpting the hills and bunkers, draining the lakes to replace the irrigation system, and replacing all of the grass and the majority of the trees. Nowadays, the club has a clubhouse and playing surface that are considered ‘state of the art’.
Haulover Beach Golf & Tennis
Feel like playing with a balmy ocean breeze at your back? Then head to the Haulover Beach Golf facilities that are located right on the coast of Miami Beach. With a par 27 and a little more than 810 yards, this is a great option for a quick vacation practice run or for family outings. The public course stretches across 99 acres of prime beachfront property, and is one of the best parts of the sprawling public park that goes all the way to Sunny Isles.
Normandy Shores Golf Club
The Normandy Shores Golf Club is the definition of a hidden gem, hidden away on an island that connects Miami Beach to Miami. This is one of the reasons that it has become so popular with the locals. It doesn’t matter what your skill level is, the cleverly placed bunkers, water features and deftly leveled fairways will always challenge your swing.
